Simon Price from the UK newspaper Independent has written a review of Iron Maiden's Newcastle gig and compared it with Tenacious D's gig at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. "Tonight, the audience too is a very 1981 crowd, and also one of the ugliest I've seen. Everybody's dressed in washed-out, off-black denim, as though faded by a quarter-century of getting your mum to do your laundry," he says in his review.

Nicko McBrain"We had the second of our two shows in Milano on Sunday. It was a great night. No problems for us on stage and all in all a fantastic night. Highlight was the audience singing FoTD. It was especially funny that they sang the ‘Your turn’ bit and the laugh. Talk about laugh, I couldn’t stop. I even missed the downbeat of the verse. It was so funny."
