"You know it's love when your betrothed gets you two tickets to Iron Maiden on the last night of their most recent tour in their home town. The fact the seats were some of the best in the house...ok, the best seats in the house made it even sweeter. The kicker comes later." |

Simon Price from the UK newspaper Independent has written a review of Iron Maiden's Newcastle gig and compared it with Tenacious D's gig at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. "Tonight, the audience too is a very 1981 crowd, and also one of the ugliest I've seen. "We had the second of our two shows in Milano on Sunday. It was a great night. No problems for us on stage and all in all a fantastic night. Highlight was the audience singing FoTD. It was especially funny that they sang the ‘Your turn’ bit and the laugh. Talk about laugh, I couldn’t stop. I even missed the downbeat of the verse. It was so funny." |
