Full Track Listing For 'Rock Band' Game Announced

The Pulse of Radio reports: Harmonix Music announced the final track listing for its highly anticipated Rock Band video game on Thursday (November 1). The 58-song soundtrack includes dozens of original master recordings by artists such as FOO FIGHTERS, METALLICA, NIRVANA, BLACK SABBATH, RADIOHEAD, SMASHING PUMPKINS, FALL OUT BOY, THE KILLERS, THE ROLLING STONES, THE WHO, NINE INCH NAILS, SOUNDGARDEN, THE CLASH and many more, spanning alternative rock, classic rock, metal and punk from the '60s to the present. In addition to 45 tracks from established stars, the game will also feature 13 songs from independent up-and-coming acts. |

This first leg of Iron Maiden's 'SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME' World Tour will open in Mumbai India on Feb 1st, and continue through Australia, Japan, Los Angeles and Mexico, followed by the band's first ever concerts in Costa Rica and Columbia, and then on to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rica and New York, before finishing in Toronto, Canada, on March 16th. Over the 45 day period it is anticipated that Maiden will play to well over 400,000 fans in 21 cities in 10 countries, flying close to 50,000 miles in the specially refitted plane (full schedule below).

The 16th issue of the Italian Maiden fanzine Eddie's is due out soon, with cover artwork by Tommy Pons (soon to be the star of an online issue fully dedicated to him). Also announced is a second Eddie's National Convention, which will take place in Trezzo, near Milan, on December 7, and Prato, near Florence, on December 8. |

Micol Marotti of PlaybackMag.com reports that boutique distributor Grindstone Media is hoping to have a hit on its hands with "Rush: The Documentary". The $1.5 million feature doc about the famed rock band is produced and directed by Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn — the creative team behind the 2005's "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey" — and executive produced by Grindstone president Paul Zimic.
