Stockholm, Stockholm, Stockholm, what a ‘Kin brilliant night. I’m still in shock!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the Saturday evening show was the best so far but alas I was wrong. Last night we played THE BEST yet I can tell you.
We hit the stage running and didn’t look back. The sound, the audience, the performance were all fantastic.
Although I had a very heavy hangover and was getting absolutely no sympathy from anyone, I had the greatest time. It’s so strange that when you feel bad you end up playing one of your best shows to date. Well, what do I know????????????????
We hit the stage at the same time as Fridays show and proceeded to tear up the Globen Arena. What a night it was. The audience was on fire like the night before, but I don’t know what it was that made this night so rocking but I can tell you we did the business tonight that’s for sure.
I did forget to tell you guys that last night Bruce took a tumble over the front monitor wedge and then he threw all the sand bags out into the audience, nice memento there then?
But tonight he was fine and there weren’t any major hiccups.
I had a wee bit of a problem with my HiHat, the locking nut had shaken lose on the top cymbal so I had to remove the cymbal to tighten the thing. Alas it happened right at the end of ‘Shadows’,
The next tune up is TRoBB. I start with a 4 count on the Hat and there I am sitting with the ‘Kin top cymbal in me hand, hasten to add that the count was a wee bit late. Oh well, it gave the guys a little extra breather AAHHHEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After the show, I headed back to the hotel and had an early night.
I was going to meet Sola, but decided that I would stay home.
Watched a spot of the Hong Kong open on the telly and then a movie and went with lights off at 2am.
Well, It’s a little after 1:30pm. I have just got off the phone with Sola and he is going to arrange for a friend of his to come over and work on my back. It’s in a spot of bother today. Maybe it was the way I slept or something, no, couldn’t be anything to do with the two best shows to date now could it? It is really bothering me though.
Hope he can find his mate, what with it being a Sunday.
I’m going to get showered, and ready for the day. I think I will have a nice seafood dinner this evening. Maybe, a bottle of wine, what do you think????????
Well, I’m off now.
By the way, I’m keeping an eye on you lot out there on the old BB so watch out what ya say, see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
