Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT will support IRON MAIDEN on the following dates:

Feb. 04 - Burswood Dom - Perth, Australia
Feb. 06 - Rod Laver Arena - Melbourne, Australia
Feb. 07 - Rod Laver Arena - Melbourne, Australia

VANISHING POINT's new CD, "The Fourth Season", was released in August via Dockyard 1. The follow-up to 2005's "Embrace the Silence" was once again recorded with Endel Rivers at Palm studios in the band's hometown of Melbourne. Mastering duties were handled by legendary Mika Jussila (STRATOVARIUS, NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARCTICA) at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland.

VANISHING POINT recently announced the addition of drummer Christian Nativo to the group's ranks. "Previous to VANISHING POINT I have been playing in Melbourne metal band PTB (POWERS THAT BE) and doing freelance/session work for bands all around Melbourne and Interstate," Nativo wrote on VANISHING POINT's web site. "I feel extremely honored to be playing music with such a talented group of musicians and I look forward to meeting you all on the road and at the shows."

VANISHING POINT's latest opus, "Embrace the Silence", was released in Europe in May 2005 through Dockyard 1.
