IRON MAIDEN's Indian concert will take place tonight (Saturday, March 17) at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore.
Commented Dickinson, "I expect something to happen on [Saturday] and obviously, it is going to be something special. I have met people in the lobby of the hotel who said they have waited 17 years for this moment and anytime you wait 17 years, it makes me nervous because I am thinking, 'Oh shit! I hope I don't cock it up tomorrow, the amount of goodwill and the great vibes that are coming out of people.' The people are so happy and anytime people are happy, it makes a great night. So, we are looking forward to all that and we are just going to sweat a lot, yell a lot and play lots of heavy music and have a great time. That's what we are here to do and that's what we do every night."
IRON MAIDEN's last album, "A Matter of Life and Death", has been hugely popular and successful in India, reaching the No. 2 position on the Indian chart.
