The official Kraków website reports:
Today Kraków finally passed the 20,000 plays mark on the Kraków Myspace.
“This feels awesome,” says Frode as he discovers the massive increase in plays the last week. “I mean, this really shows that we are on the right track. I can’t wait to get out and play for these people, because obviously, they want to hear our music! Plus, we did some research yesterday, and it seemed Iron Maiden had just about 9 times as many plays as we did. And of course, Iron Maiden are on tour these days so that should count for something, I guess. So the conclusion must be that Maiden are about 7 times as big as Kraków, and that shows we’re headed in the right direction!” Frode finishes with a laugh.
The last week daily plays has been in the area of 200-350, which is a nice increase from the previous average. An obvious reason for this increase is of course the fact that it was publically known that Kraków are Special Guests on Enslaved’s VERTEBRAE TOUR 2008, which will visit 18 countries around Europe and stretch for more than 50 days.
