IRON MAIDEN jetted off for the start of their world tour with frontman BRUCE DICKINSON behind the controls of the band’s very own Boeing 757.

SKY NEWS will be accompanying Iron Maiden to India for the first show of their monumental and groundbreaking SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR. They will be covering the band leaving the UK in their customised Boeing 757, flown by vocalist and Airline Captain Bruce Dickinson, the flight to India and their first concert of the tour in Mumbai.

IRON MAIDEN are very pleased to announce that AVENGED SEVENFOLD will join them as SPECIAL GUESTS at Twickenham Stadium on July 5, Paris Bercy July 2 and 3 and a number of dates in Finland and Scandanavia (as listed below) on their "SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR".

Iron Maiden are very pleased to announce they will be performing at the Assen TT Race Track in Assen, Holland on Saturday 16th August as part of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008. This is the first time any such music event has been staged as the famous motorcycling rack track which regularly hosts the World superbike championships and TT races.

VANISHING POINT & BEHIND CRIMSON EYES LAUREN HARRIS

On the eve of the highly anticipated Australian leg of the IRON MAIDEN world tour, which will see the band play sold out arena shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in February, the support acts have been announced.
