Iron Maiden's first ever studio album, Iron Maiden, was released on November 4th, 1980. The album went straight to 4th position in the UK charts, and within the first month the album went silver. On the US release, they included Sanctuary as a bonus track. The producer for this the album was Will Malone, and Derek Riggs did the artwork for the cover.

Iron Maidens second album Killers introduced mr Adrian Smith on guitar, replacing Dennis Stratton. This is the first Iron Maiden album produced by Martin Birch. In the UK Killers charts at #12. Twilight Zone appeared originally on the Japaneese and US version. The classic Eddie is drawn by Derek Riggs.
